Special Meeting of the Board of Education Meeting Notice

The Lyndhurst Board of Education will be holding a special meeting of the Board of Education on August 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.

Residency Verification Reminder Important Notice

Parents of Students who were in Grades 1, 3, 7 and 10 during 2016-17 were required to verify Lyndhurst residency by May of 2017.  Letters clearly describing the process were sent home and reminders were shared.

If you DID NOT return this information to us as required this past school year, your child WILL NOT BE ACTIVELY ENROLLED for the 2017-18 school year.  The required information MUST be submitted to your child's school.  Contact your school secretary for assistance in submitting this residency information if you did not do so during the school year.

Schoolwear Options School Wear

Parents:  Stay ahead of the calendar!  Get your official schoolwear today so you are prepared for the upcoming school year.  Visit the "Official Schoolwear Information" tab of the district's main website to see special offers and purchasing options from our schoolwear vendors and to review the schoolwear policy.  Remember, this policy applies to students in grades K-12.

2017/18 Beforecare and Aftercare Services Before / After Care

The Township of Lyndhurst, under the direction of Commissioner Tom DiMaggio of the Parks and Recreation Department, is now offering a Beforecare and Aftercare school program for the 2017/18 school year for all elementary students in grades PK 4 - Grade 8.

Beforecare will run starting at 7:00 AM until the start of the school day.  Aftercare will run from after school until 6:00 PM.

Registrations will be held at the Lyndhurst Parks Department at 250 Cleveland Avenue from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday July 18th, Thursday July 20th,Tuesday August 15th and Thursday August 17th.

All information regarding the program will be readily available at the registration session, however should you have a specific question or concern, feel free to call Ms. Ann Mezzina at 201.655.1014 and she will be happy to assist you.

2017-18 Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 Update Pre-K Registration Update

A HUGE welcome to the youngest members of our district family:  the students of PK-3 and PK-4! Principal Giangeruso, who oversees both of our district PK programs, is in the process of finalizing our 2017-18 rosters, tuition payment systems, orientation dates/times, etc.    

You should expect to receive information that answers all of your questions prior to August 1st.  Keep an eye on your email for related information.

The PK program follows the school year calendar and that is available here on our website's "District Information Tab" for your convenience.

Very limited space remains available for our 2017-18 PK-3 and PK-4 PM classes. Our 2017-18 PK-3 AM, PK-4 AM, and our PK-4 Full Day classes are now closed. (No registrations for these classes will be accepted).

If you are interested in our PK-3 or PK-4 PM class, you should register soon by completing the attached registration packet and bringing it to the Central Office Mon-Thurs. between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
