It is with great honor and excitement that I greet you as the Principal of Franklin Elementary School. I am humbled and most appreciative of the opportunity presented to me to be a member of this educational family.

I have been privileged to have spent 16 wonderful years in Lyndhurst as an educator. I believe that my background as a teacher and my ongoing role as a parent enables me to understand and meet the needs of both teachers and parents but ultimately allows me to serve the students and children of our community. Each year, I look forward to the journey as an administrator and aspire to be a leader that will create a culture where our students are given the most significant opportunities to achieve academic success.

At Franklin School, we are dedicated to providing a quality education for the whole child. We have so much to offer and are committed to helping every child to be a success. Our dynamic staff is committed to providing your child with an extraordinary educational experience.

The faculty and staff place significant value on the partnership with our parents and our community. We believe it is vital that our parents and community members are our partners in learning. I believe it is my job to ensure we are providing the framework and foundation for that relationship. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, that you would like to discuss, or stop by to introduce yourself any time as my door is always open to you.

Together we will continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities and academic excellence for all of our students.

Warm regards,

Jennifer L. Scardino
