NJ Department of Education Later School Start Time Public Testimony Sessions

The New Jersey Department of Education will be conducting meetings throughout the state to provide parents, educators, students and community members the opportunity to share their thoughts on the issue of a later school start time.  Click here for more information.

Congratulations to the Lighthouse!!!

The Lighthouse (Lyndhurst High School's Newspaper) has once again taken home a 1st place award in the American Scholastic Press Association's annual newspaper contest.  Congratulations to Mrs. Pastor and the 2015-16 staff on another stellar achievement.

LHS Photography Student Wins Accolades...

Stephen Giordano, a junior at LHS and an amazing photographer, has placed as a Judges' Choice winner in the Animals/People Category of the Ocean County Camera Club Photo Contest and will be moving on the next level which is judged by the Photographic Society of America. Stephen's subject in the photo is another LHS student, Louis Dell Aquila.  Way to go and good luck in the next round of competition.

A Path to Addiction - Heroin Presentation

The Bergen County Prosecutors Office in conjunction with Commissioner John Montillo, the Lyndhurst Police Department, and the Rutherford Police Department will be sponsoring a special presentation to the community on June 9, 2016.  Please click here for more information.
