Early Dismissal - 01/26/2015

The Lyndhurst Schools will be conducting an early dismissal on Monday, January 26, 2015 due to the anticipated winter storm.  Aftercare and all after school activities are cancelled.  Please refer to the following schedule.

LHS FBLA has a Northern Region Champion...

Congratulations to Teslim Olunlade who took First Place in Introduction to Information Technology at the FBLA Northern Region competition.  Way to go!!! Good luck at the State Leadership Conference next month.

Students Named to State Regional Chorus

LHS Chorale students attened the State Regional Chorus Auditions.   This is the first year that we have qualified more than one student into this prestigious group!  Congratulations to the following students for qualifying for our Region 1 State Chorus this year. Shanice Aquino, Erikson Calcano, Michael Conti, and Norilynne Witt.  Outstanding job Congratulations!

LHS Alumnus is an Author!

LHS Alumnus, James McChesney, class of 2014, has written and published a book Out With the Old, In With the End! The LHS Book Club is reading his book and hosting a book signing and discussion with James and welcomes LHS students to stop by and share in James McChesney's exciting accomplishment. 

James will be coming in on Thursday, January 15th to the Media Center during lunch to sign our books, take questions and discuss how he got published. You can purchase, James McChesney's book on CreateSpace ( for $12.
