Student Services

Our School Counselors are here to provide you with guidance and support as you transition through your high school career and into your future. These outstanding members of the Lyndhurst High School Community are here to help whenever you need assistance. Take some time to learn a little about our counselors!

Mrs. Maureen Colombo, School Counselor
Mrs. Maureen Colombo is a high school counselor. She attended Seton Hall University, where she received a full tuition swimming scholarship. While at Seton Hall, Mrs. Colombo majored in Communications and English. Upon graduating from Seton Hall University, Mrs. Colombo went on to work at MTV, Lifetime Television and Felician College. She also volunteered at the 1996 Olympics. Mrs. Colombo received her maters degree from Montclair State University and began working at Lyndhurst High School in 2010. In 2016, Mrs. Colombo received, the Educator of the Year Award from the American Legion. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. 

Ms. Susan Leidemer, School Counselor
Ms. Leidemer graduated from Paramus Catholic High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Felician College.  She went on to attend New Jersey City University, where she received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling.  Ms. Leidemer pursued additional credits in Counseling from Caldwell University to successfully obtain New Jersey Licensure as a Professional Counselor. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 children.

Ms. Maryann Mulé, School Counselor
Maryann Mulé is a first-year school counselor, serving Lincoln School and Memorial Campus.  Prior to serving these two schools, Ms. Mulé served for ten years as a district Student Assistance Counselor, primarily spending her time at Lyndhurst High School.  Ms. Mulé is loving getting to know students in grades three thru eight!   Ms. Mulé studied counseling at The College of New Jersey and graduated in 2008 with her Master's Degree in Counseling.  Ms. Mulé is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  In her free time, Ms. Mulé spends time with her daughter and dog and loves to play in the park!

Mrs. Alyssa Radigan, School Counselor
Mrs. Radigan is an Upper Elementary School Counselor at Roosevelt School. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Montclair State University in 2012 and went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Education with a School Counseling Certification in 2015. Mrs. Radigan has an open door policy with all of her students and strives to assist them with their academic, social, and emotional needs. She loves to read, travel, play with her dog, and spend time with family in her spare time.

Mr. Thomas Rowland, School Counselor
Mr. Rowland is a high school counselor who has earned his Master's in Education at William Paterson University and his BA at Bloomsburg University.  During his senior year, he studied abroad in Australia.  Prior to counseling, he was a diver in the United States Navy.  Mr. Rowland enjoys talking to students about their future plans.  Outside of school his favorite activities are playing baseball, traveling, and working as a volunteer with the Big Brother Program.
