Jaclynn Geitz joined the Lyndhurst Public School District in Sept 2016, serving as a Speech Language Pathologist. She received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Saint Rose and a Masters of Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After completion of her fellowship in a skilled nursing facility, Ms. Jackie pursued her passion to work with children in a school setting.
Ms. Jackie is excited to provide speech and language services to students in grades 4-12 at Jefferson School and the High School. She also works with the pre school population at Community School. Therapy sessions are provided in group and individual settings, according to the student's IEP.
• The Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association
• A New Jersey state license
• Department of Education certification as a Speech Language Specalist
A school-based Speech-Language Specialist is responsible for providing therapy, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with other school professionals, parents, teachers, and Child Study Team members to ensure the student’s IEP goals and the school curriculum standards are being met.
