My name is Theresa Lopatosky and I am one of the Elemenary Learning Disability Teacher Consultants. I have been working for Lyndhurst as their Learning Disability Teacher Consultant since October 2012. Before coming to Lyndhurst I worked as an LDTC for 2 years. I have 10 years teaching experience in a private school for students with learning disabilities.
I received my undergraduate Bachelor of Science degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey). I recieved my Teacher of the Handicapped certification from Rutgers. My Masters in Education was earned at William Paterson where I received my Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certification.
As a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant I provide support and strategies to teachers who are having difficulties with teaching some of their students. Educational testing of students who have been referred to the Child Student Team is another one of the services I provide. I also serve on the I&RS team at Franklin School. Case Management of new and existing students is another part of my day.
