Washington School...Where Wonderful Happens!

Learning and growing together- students, staff, and parents

We’ve transitioned from summer to fall in a blink of an eye, leaving us to collectively ask, “Where does the time go?”  During the month of November I would like for parents and teachers to take a moment to show our students how thankful we are for them.

Our students are continuing to work hard academically and behaviorally and I am very proud of the growth that I am seeing in so many of our students.

I would like to encourage all parents to continue to openly communicate with your child’s teacher about his/her academic progress and seek out ways you can help your child at home. Good relationships between home and school can make your child’s experience in school an enjoyable one! Success in school requires thoughtful commitment from all stakeholders and daily attendance by your child is a MUST. We encourage you to take an active role in your child’s education and we welcome you to become involved in your child’s educational journey by participating in school events.  Be sure to sign up to volunteer with the PTA.  We would love for you to volunteer and work within the school community this year!

Be sure to check out our website for information that can provide you with answers to many questions. Also be certain to check email regularly and read any information that is sent home.  Should you ever have any questions, kindly call the main office for assistance: 201-896-2072.

Together, we will make WONDERFUL things happen for our Washington School students.

Warm Regards,

Christina Bernardo
