My Lyndhurst, by Joseph Cofone

The book is over 500 pages and contains hundreds of wonderful images and stories...How did the "Hook" get its name?...Babs' and Bunny's...Lou Monte...our Olympic athletes...and so much more!

It has taken Mr. Cofone about three years (part-time) to complete. He is proud that a copy of the book will reside in the Lyndhurst Public Library and will become part of their Jerseyana Collection where it will be found with other history books about Lyndhurst.

The downloadable link is below. However, Mr. Cofone has one request for those who download a copy…the next time you donate to your favorite charity, he asks that you increase that donation by whatever value you ascribe to the book. A great way to “pay it forward.”

I know so many of you will enjoy this read. It is an interesting and entertaining compilation of essays about people, places, events, and memories of the Township of Lyndhurst.

Our sincere thanks to Mr. Cofone for sharing his wonderful book with us!
