This semester course will enable you to learn about the critical aspects of personal financial decision-making.  A broad range of today’s asset/investment alternatives such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, savings instruments, real estate, and collectibles are covered.  Students also explore financial topics such as checking and savings, creating a balanced budget, reconciling bank statements, purchasing or leasing a car, renting or buying a home, obtaining funding for college, insurance, and avoiding identity theft.
