*What to Study for Photosynthesis Test

What is the ultimate source of energy on Earth?

What is photosythesis?

In which organelle does photosynthesis occur in? Specifically, what part of the organelle does the light reaction occur in and what part of the organelle does the Calvin cycle (dark reaction) occur in?

Why do leaves of a plant appear green? (What colors does chlorophyll absorb & reflect?)

Be able to identify the reactants & products of the photosynthesis equation.

What product of the light reactions of photosynthesis is released and does not participate any further in photosynthesis (the dark reaction)?

What are the products of the light reactions of photosynthesis that are a source of energy for the dark reactions (Calvin cycle)?

The final product of the dark reaction (Calvin Cycle) is ______.
